My name is Sage Karras, I'm a new student of Ringling collage of art and Design (RCAD). A Illustration major hoping to addvance into a Visual Development pathway. I've won my awards, hosted my events, and now I'm Aiming for a Spot in the indudtry. The job market for creatives right now is behond turbulant, and honestly a bit abysmal, however if I cant take a leap of faith for my life long passion I'd be beyond ashamed. 

I'm taking the steps I need to make it happen, however by looking at my portfolio and keeping my name on your mind, you can help me get to where I'm going quicker.

What are your plans for the future?
  • I plan to attend a well-known art school with programs specified to my needs. (CHECK)
  • Make connections in the field (...)
  • I hope to intern at a well-known studio (WORKING ON IT)
  • Build my career with the goal of being a very happy corporate artist. (ON MY WAY)

The truth is a I have a long way to go until I can check off most of my goals. I'm not even sure where I'll land yet, but I know it'll be on my feet, but only after I fall down the metaphorical creative industry stairs of death first. 

Why is Sage an asset to our team?

I'm a multifaceted worker. As such I'm able to lead, follow, and adapt to changes quickly. Not only would I love to gain more experience but am curently unmolded by the industry so I'm flexible to unique methods and strange projects. 

Will you ever sell your art?

I have and I will again! As of now my art sales total around $ 1,000. I hope to attend conventions as a vendor in upcoming years and am also working out a commission system that grooves with my collage workflow.

About Me

I was born and raised in California. I’m very heavily integrated into the coastal culture. Whether through surfing or volunteer work, I aim to be a part of my community. I have a passion for world-building and storytelling through art. Being able to pick apart a character by how they dress or what they look like is what makes a film enjoyable.
